THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY LIBRARY

The library has acquired many books that are fascinating reading.  One of the best is by the daughter of John M. Ellis, who tells of her experiences with noisy cowboys, groups of indians camping across the street from their house, cattle drives through town, and an episode as a student at El Meta Bond College.

Another fascinating book is the biography of the amazing woman who was president of El Meta Bond College.
