Sunwapta Falls near the Columbia Icefields Parkway	Betty at Sumwapta Falls	From the falls, I could hear what sounded like race car, and spotted this sports car returning from the rally in Jasper.
Zoomed in.	Betty is in the middle.	Going over the pass west of Banff, these guys were attacting a lot of attention from stopped cars.
		As we pulled up to our hotel in Kimberly, BC, we spotted this deer munching on the flower bed.

Kimberley's Residence Inn has good rates during the summer. A very nice place.	We headed for Glacier Natl Park, but found it had closed due to ten feet of late June snow. We spotted a "drive through" bear park on the west side of Glacier Natl Park that we missed the last time we were here. The private zoo demands that not only windows are to be kept shut ... the doors are to be locked, too. The bears are very intelligent and easily open doors if unlocked.	They also said that cool weather and light rain makes them active. We were lucky as the grizzleys were playing.	Motorcycles and soft top cars are prohibited. The people must stay in their car/cage.



The bear is sniffing to see if the ranger is ready to eat yet. This one was very close to the car, and as the car began moving again, it turned its head with mouth open as if to take a bite of the car.
	We stayed at the Vista Motel in West Glacier, a very 1940s style place (old) that was very clean and had a beautiful view from our window. It also had a TV that received one channel for an hour.	Zoom view from our window. Too bad the pass over Glacier was closed due to snow. We went around the bottom end of Glacier and took off for home. (END)
