The town of Leavenworth, Washington, turned itself into a Bavarian village for the tourist trade. With snow covered mountains around it, it gave us the impression we had been to Germany without the jet lag and bother. Leavenworth is located in the Cascade mountains in mid-north Washington. Betty found many gifts to take back with us. |
