On the drive up Hurricane Ridge south of Port Angeles, Washington.  The Strait of  San Juan DeFuca is in background, with Vancouver Island barely visible. Port Angeles can barely be seen on water's edge.

Top of Hurricane Ridge. View is like this for 360 degrees. One can drive from sea level to snowcapped mountains in about 10-15 minutes.
